I know I am a bit behind on the Benefit 'Bene-Tint' bandwagon, but better late than never!
I was tempted when Glamour had their freebie last month, and even though the bottle is pretty small I think it will last me a long time, and for £2 its great!
I thought this would be great to wear in the winter, and it gives a fresh faced, rosy cheek look - as though you've just been for a brisk walk in the countryside.
A little goes a long way with this, as a small amount of colour can make a strong impact. And because it is a stain, you can add shimmer on your cheeks where you want it, rather than an all over shimmer which you might get from a normal shimmery blusher.
This is meant to be used on the lips too, however I don't think it works as well because it seeps into the creases in your lips, rather than giving an all over stain.

A Tweezer Revolution
I recently invested in a uniquely design of tweezers, which help you get accurate hair removal, resulting in a precise and professional finish.
They are from pro brow designer Barbara Carranza and have been part of her makeup kit for nearly 15 years now until she decided to get the design recreated herself after being unable to find this shape anywhere else.
I met Barbara as part of my makeup course at the Academy of Freelance Makeup, where she taught us how to pluck eyebrows and apply false eyelashes.
They cost me £15, which I think is a fair price when you compare how much Tweezerman charge.
The angle at the tip of the tweezers means that you can see each hair before you pluck it and also use them in a scissor motion - dragging the tweezers whilst plucking over the hair line.
The tweezers shape also enables each false eyelash application, where you can push the false eyelashes down onto the lash line, and place the lashes accurately.

Open Your Eyes
Nude eyeliner is the perfect way to brighten your eyes, especially when you've had a late night and your eyes may be a bit red.
Apply it to the water line, along with your normal eye make up.
Steer clear of white eye liner, as this can look quite dated and less 'real' as nude liner.
The one I've chosen is Rimmels Scandel Eyes Waterproof Kohl Liner which I have found to work really well. Although I don't think its 100% natural, is does definitely help open up my eyes, and reduce the redness. The fact that this liner is water proof also makes sure that it lasts a long time, although it may need to be touched up at lunch time!
